Time spares nothing, and seems particularly to have it out for our faces, paying just as much attention to skin-level deformations (lines and wrinkles) as it does to the large-scale hollowings and saggings which, over time, change the actual shape of our faces.

We can’t stop the ageing process, but we can try to slow it down or even reverse some of it.

In our 60s, we lose considerable amount of volume in the face which can contribute to drooping corners of mouth, nasolabial folds and loss of cheek volume. Fine lines can start to become deeper around the lips and we tend to lose lip volume. Crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines become deeper and more noticeable. Sun exposure, previous use of tanning salon and smoking can speed up the development of lines.

If you have never had facial aesthetic treatments such as Botox® and dermal filler before, then we are sure you have plenty of questions. The concerns that most people report are that they do not want to look unnatural and frozen.

Dr Bong prides himself on offering results which are natural and balanced. We encourage our patients to not to do much in one treatment session. Little and often is a better approach. We recommend starting with one procedure and adding to the overall effect over the following few weeks or even months for a natural-looking appearance.
