Non-Surgical Face Lifts

Getting older is something that many people wish they could avoid. As the body ages, appearance changes. Hair may start to thin or change colour, and, in most cases, wrinkles appear. Thinning hair can be cut or the hairstyle altered to lessen the appearance of ageing. It is also possible to dye tell-tale greying hair so that the individual appears younger. However, wrinkles are not so easy to disguise.

For that reason, many people will consider cosmetic surgery. However, going under the knife in the name of vanity is not something that everyone would contemplate. Thankfully, several non-surgical facelifts available these days do not involve knives and, more importantly, lengthy recovery periods.

Types of Non-Surgical Face Lifts

Non-surgical procedures are becoming increasingly popular these days as people try to minimise the signs of ageing. There are many different non-surgical procedures available, including the following:

  • Botox – Botox are anti-wrinkle injections that relax the muscles into which they are injected. When the body ages, muscles become weaker, and, as a result, wrinkles and deep lines can appear. Botox works by paralysing these muscles and creating a smooth appearance. Treatments usually last for three to four months before repeat injections are required.
  • Plasma / Plexr Skin Tightening Plasma skin tightening, or resurfacing, is an alternative to classic skin resurfacing, which involves burning a layer of skin away. The theory behind controlled skin damage is that once it heals, it improves the signs of ageing. Plasma skin tightening works similarly but reduces the chance of infection thanks to plasma and nitrogen. This method also reduces recovery time.
  • Dermal Fillers Dermal fillers are soft tissue fillers injected into the skin. These are used to fill in deep lines and wrinkles and give a smoother, younger-looking appearance. Dermal fillers pad out the area under the skin but, after time, are absorbed by the body, so repeat injections are necessary. Doctors also use them to improve the appearance of scars or to fill out thin lips. In addition, some people opt for dermal fillers to contour their jawline or to plump up their cheeks.
  • Skin Peels A chemical peel is a solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. There are 3 types of peels, called superficial, medium and deep. The chemical skin peels we offer are unavailable in the high street and should not be confused with very mild and gentle glycolic peels from beauty therapists. We offer several different medical-grade chemical skin peels, and these go beyond removing dead skin and work to refresh the skin by remodelling live skin.
  • 3d Ultimate Liquid Face Lift –The 3D Ultimate Liquid Face Lift is one of the most advanced non-surgical facelifts with dermal fillers – pioneered by our cosmetic doctor – Dr Kieren Bong.

This is Dr Bong’s signature treatment and is renowned worldwide. Patients have flown in from as far as Canada and Monaco to have this transformational treatment. In broad terms, the 3D Ultimate Liquid Face Lift treatment

Benefits of Non-Surgical Face Lifts

There are several benefits to choosing non-surgical facelifts; below are just a few.

  • The most obvious benefit is that there is no need for a general anaesthetic. Being put to sleep for surgery always carries a certain amount of risk, and most people prefer to avoid this if possible.
  • Surgical facelifts require a certain amount of time for recovery, meaning taking time off work and pain while the wounds heal. This is avoided with non-surgical facelifts.
  • Because there is less time and work involved with these procedures, they tend to be less expensive.
  • Non-surgical procedures are non-invasive and, therefore, a safer alternative to surgical procedures.
  • Swelling and puffiness are reduced, and the appearance is immediately improved. With surgical procedures, the face will often be quite swollen, and there may be fluid retention around the eyes. This is eliminated with a non-surgical procedure.
  • Non-surgical facelifts are a pain-free way to improve the appearance and see instant results.
