Terms and Conditions

At Essence Medical, we’re committed to providing exceptional care at competitive prices.  Dr Kieren Bong, one of Europe’s most sought-after cosmetic doctors, will consult and treat you.

We value your time and appreciate your understanding that ours is equally important. Late cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute rescheduling mean we cannot offer your appointment to others, yet we still incur costs for staff and clinic operations.

Booking an Appointment

To secure your appointment, we require:

  • A valid credit/debit card
  • Your contact telephone number
  • Your email address

For new patients: A £50 consultation fee will be taken at the time of booking (see details below).

Your personal information is always kept confidential and protected under Data Protection laws. We will never share your details with third parties without your written consent.

Consultation Fees for New Patients

New patients pay a one-time £50 consultation fee, fully redeemable against any treatment booked within 3 months of your consultation.

Please note:

  • The fee is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, arrive late, or miss your appointment.
  • It is also non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with treatment or are deemed unsuitable.

Same-Day Botox & Dermal Fillers:

If you wish to have treatment on the same day as your consultation, a £150 booking fee is required to secure a longer appointment slot. This fee is redeemable only against same-day treatment and is non-refundable if you cancel late or fail to attend.

Booking for Existing Patients

No upfront fee is needed, but we’ll securely store your card details to confirm your appointment. Our cancellation policy still applies.

Cancellation, No-Shows & Late Arrivals

  • Cancelling/rescheduling within 48 hours? A £50 fee applies (or forfeiture of one pre-paid treatment for course patients).
  • Running late? Your treatment time may be shortened, or your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
  • Missed appointments? The applicable fee will be charged.

While we strive to run on time, unforeseen circumstances may require us to reschedule. In such rare cases, we’ll notify you promptly.

Reminder Texts:
As a courtesy, we send text reminders 48+ hours before appointments. However, technical issues can occur, so we recommend noting your appointment independently.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Cancellations must be made during opening hours by calling 0141 894 9098. Emails or voicemails outside these times will not be accepted.

Children at the Clinic

For safety and privacy, we do not treat under-18s and kindly ask that children not accompany you unless they can wait unsupervised.

Payment

  • New patients: Pay the applicable consultation fee when scheduling.
  • Treatments: Full payment is taken on the day. Some treatments may require a deposit, which we’ll confirm when booking.
  • We accept: Cash, credit/debit cards.

Refunds

Your treatment fee covers:
✔ Consultation & assessment
✔ Expert advice & personalised care
✔ Safe, evidence-based treatments
✔ Follow-ups & aftercare (if needed)

While we take every care to ensure excellent results, individual responses to treatments vary. As such, we cannot offer refunds based on results not meeting expectations.

These terms apply in all circumstances.
