HOW YOUR SKIN CHANGES IN YOUR 60s
In our 60s, we lose a considerable amount of volume in the face, which can contribute to drooping corners of the mouth, nasolabial folds and loss of cheek volume. Fine lines can become deeper around the lips, and we tend to lose lip volume. Crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines become deeper and more noticeable. Sun exposure, previous use of tanning salons and smoking can speed up the development of lines. And while we can’t stop the ageing process, we can try to slow it down or even reverse some of it.
If you have never had facial aesthetic treatments such as Botox® and dermal filler before, then we are sure you have plenty of questions. The concerns that most people report are that they do not want to look unnatural and frozen.
Dr Bong prides himself on offering results which are natural and balanced. We encourage our patients not to do much in one treatment session. Little and often is a better approach. We recommend starting with one procedure and adding to the overall effect over the following weeks or even months for a natural-looking appearance.
